John wasnt the best at customer service, However he convinced me to pull my car out of bobs auto and take it to him. I was very happy that I made the decision to go with half price auto. Bobs had quoted me $500 to do a wheel bearing on my 2002 chevy trailblazer without TAX!!! They tried selling me on their 30 month 30,000 mile warranty. Well John gave me the price of $267.93 with tax. When I questioned the warranty, he said "we use better parts than bobs, and have a better warranty." John Gave me a lifetime warranty on the part, and 3 years on labor, in writing!! On top of that, their oil changes are only 15 dollars, I had a 14.95 coupon for bobs and my oil change ended up being $27, and nobody had warned me about the extra cost. I will always trust my vehicles with John from now on, no reason to shop around for price and quality, they have it all. I would assume the reason the price is so much lower is due to the overhead not being so high, and not having all the fancy towtrucks. I also didnt feel pressured to buy anything that I didnt need. I really like John, his mechanics, and his business policy. The customer comes first, that is why Half Price is Light Years ahead of any other shop in West Bend! All the angies list reviews were right.
